The top of the blade is polished to a brilliant mirror finish while the blade bevel is satin polished for fast and easy sharpening. The Shun Pro series features a symmetrical handle design, slightly rounded at the center, and ideal for left or right-handed use. The handles are accented with a brass medallion, as well as brass rings and mirror-polished bolsters and end caps.
